PROTECTION
Our organization is committed to protecting children, women, young girls, and boys from all forms of violence and discrimination across the continent. We advocate and lobby for vulnerable children, including street kids, children accused of witchcraft, orphans, and abandoned infants.
In addition, we prioritize the security of women and fight against gender-based violence. Our goal is to prevent and combat gender-based violence against women, young girls, and youth in Africa, particularly in conflict zones. We work with local civil society organizations and international partners to address the challenges of preventing and fighting gender violence toward women.
EDUCATIONS
At JRF, our commitment is to support the education of children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are impacted by ongoing conflict crises and living in remote villages. Additionally, we are dedicated to fighting the spread of COVID-19 and promoting hygiene in schools and their surrounding areas. Our goal is to improve access to education for all children, with a particular focus on girls, in Africa. We strive to ensure that they can continue their education and learn in a safe and protective environment. Our mission is to promote and enhance access to education for children around the world. We believe that education is essential for a better future.
COMMUNITY HEALTH
Our organization, JRF, works towards reducing the mortality and morbidity rates related to malaria among children under the age of 5 and pregnant women. We also focus on preventing reproductive health issues in young girls and mothers, raising awareness about epidemics, and stopping the transmission of HIV. In order to achieve these goals, we provide prevention measures, mass awareness campaigns, medical care, home-care follow-up for beneficiaries, and cover their transportation costs. Our belief is that good health leads to a better life for families, including access to food, shelter, education, and livelihood opportunities.
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
The protection of the environment is important. Along with that, good governance, security, and peace are crucial. To achieve this, we must prevent violence, extremism, and radicalization. We aim to enhance the abilities of vulnerable youth, youth leaders, and key community members to become peacekeepers. This will prevent conflicts and promote reconciliation and social cohesion within their community. We must also work to prevent high-risk situations that could lead to extremism and radicalization between different communities.
FOOD SECURITY
The J’ai Rêvé Foundation is dedicated to aiding the agricultural recovery of vulnerable households and revitalizing the local economy to strengthen the resilience of rural communities.
Our goal is to assist farmers in need, ensuring that each family has a secure food supply for both adults and children.
